The activated-carbon media helps reduce chlorine, chloramines, unpleasant tastes and odours, pesticides, volatile organic compounds and dissolved colour. It is suitable for treating larger volumes of water and provides a cost-effective whole-house filtration solution with a long service life.

A manual backwashing head allows the system to be cleaned by reversing the water flow through the filtration media. This flushes accumulated material to waste, helping maintain performance without disposable cartridge changes or an electrical connection.
